Outreach Center Sports New Logo
 Left to right in the photo: Linda Weaver, Emily Lamb, Sheila Swanger, Carol Thompson Thanks to the creativity and efforts of an aspiring Girl Scout Gold Award applicant, the Geneseo Parish Outreach Center has a new logo. Emily Lamb, a Geneseo Central rising junior, credits her desire to work in the medical field and admiration for the mission of GPOC with her design. The heart and the hands represent the extent of the health care outreach and the compassionate support for the families served, while the green reflects the positive actions taken by those who work diligently to help the Center’s clients. Emily has been a Scout since kindergarten, having earned her Bronze and Silver awards and continues to work toward the Gold, which is similar to the Eagle Scout for boys. She is, also, working on a pamphlet for GPOC. At GCS she is active in Do Gooders and the National Honor Society and participates in these sports: soccer, basketball and track. The daughter of Craig and Janet Lamb, Emily has extended her active lifestyle and positive attitude into the wider community. |

The Geneseo Parish Outreach Center had a presence at the Geneseo Festival over the weekend sharing a tent and table with the Geneseo United Methodist Church. |

.jpg) .jpg) Peggy Linton and Diana Harke represented the Geneseo Parish Outreach Center at the Livingston County Safety & Wellness Community Fair at the Livingston County Campus Murray Hill Drive in Mount Morris on Saturday, May 15, 2021. They handed out raisins, apple slices, tooth brushes, tooth paste, dental floss, and Good Rx prescription cards as well as health related coloring books, pens and GPOC brochures, wish lists and volunteer opportunities to those visiting the GPOC booth. |
