Judy Beeman

Currently serving as the Vice President on their Executive Board, Judy's involvement with the work of this outreach project includes working in the clinic, assisting in maintaining the Client Services database, and reviewing all of the laboratory bills.
Additionally, she updates the electronic medical record with non-medical information outside of our clinic hours and tracks the cost of the outside services to the clients for their care. However, her first priority is serving as a prayer partner for both the clients being served, as well as the volunteer staff who keep our lay ministry functioning at this level. Next month, she will be attending a conference for the National Association of Free and Charitable Clinics as one of our representatives.
Judy retired from Rochester General Hospital where she was the charge capture and compliance manager for their laboratories. She, and husband, Andy, are the parents of three adult sons, and four grandchildren, including a newborn grandson.
She enjoys reading, knitting, playing cards and dominoes, but much of her "free time" involves other types of service right here in our Methodist church!
Judy is our Lay Leader for Nurture, and is one of our Lay Members to Annual Conference. Her soprano voice is a part of our Praise Team music enjoyed every Sunday during early worship, and also is a large part of the church's Prayer Team.
We applaud Judy for her steady involvement in the Geneseo Parish Outreach Center's outreach to those less able to manage their health issues, but she is quick to state that her desire is "To Give God the Glory!" We say "Thank You, Judy" for your deep and caring work with our GPOC.
