Penny Dunn

Penny Dunn is our Parish Outreach's Volunteer of the Months of July & August, having recently agreed to serve as the secretary for the board of directors of the Parish Outreach Center. Penny has served on the board since 2017 and was chairperson for the Walk fundraiser last year.     She is the branch manager at the Geneseo office of the Bank of Castile, whose parent company openly encourages their employees to be community minded, and to find a local non-profit organization for which their volunteer hours may be given. We are very grateful that she has chosen our medical mission as her "project".     Penny and her husband Shawn have been married 23 years, and are the parents of three adult children and have four grandchildren who live in nearby Avon. She sees the POC as a wonderful way to share her skills and talents working with our board of directors, and finds volunteering as "very humbling" and a great way to give back to her community. Her hobbies and interests include gardening, doing crafts, kayaking down the Genesee River and nearby lakes, and most importantly, spending time with her grandchildren, which includes a set of 5 year old twin girls!     We offer our appreciation to Penny for choosing our Geneseo Parish Outreach Center as her place for sharing her volunteer efforts and many skills, and our congratulations on being named our "Volunteer of the Month"
