Sandra "Sandy" Bradt RN is our Parish Outreach
Center's "Professional Volunteer" for the months of
January and February 2018, where she serves on the
Board of Directors as our policy reviewer for all policies
and procedures by which the outreach center must
abide.
Her work includes patient interviews, compliancy
details, following up on necessary paper work involved
in this medical outreach, and guiding out Board of
Directors as decisions need to be made on creating
new policy initiatives.
Sandy completed her nursing degree through
Corning Community College and later earned her
Bachelor of Science degree from Roberts Wesleyan
College.
Presently she is a retired registered nurse who had
a 41-year career in her field, and retired following 24
years working in the Livingston County Public Health
Department's Home Care Unit. It was there that she
honed her skills working with privacy issues as she
reviewed the department's procedures and policies,
and how they needed to be followed.
She has shared her expert suggestions and advice
for the past three years with our Parish Outreach
Center staff and Board.
As a hobby, Sandy is a bona fide quilter who finds
great pleasure in creating wonderful pieces of hand
work. This past year, she even displayed one of her
finished creations called an "art quilt", at a Rochester
show and sale.
We congratulate Sandy on her
selection as the POC's professional volunteer, and extend a warm and
friendly "Thank You" for her efforts and dedication to our organization's
mission.
