The Geneseo Parish Outreach Center, Inc. wishes to recognize Dr. Thomas Walters as their professional "Volunteer of the Month." Dr. Walters is a family medicine provider with the Livonia and Lima Family Medicine practice, who has been involved with our mission here since July of 2013. He also serves as the Medical Director for the Council on Alcohol and Substance Abuse of Livingston County, Inc. Having received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University, he completed his medical degree from the University of Rochester in 2003. While at the U of R, the "best thing that has happened to me" was meeting his future wife, Megan, who serves as a geriatric physician at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Canandaigua. They are the parents of a son, age 8 years, and a daughter, age 5, which has offered him the opportunity to serve as an assistant lacrosse coach, in Livonia, for young boys in first and second grades. Our POC gratefully acknowledges Dr. Thomas Walters' contribution to our mission project helping individuals and families who are seeking affordable medical care.
